What event would benefit from having a photo booth?
Photo booths are popular at weddings, corporate Events, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, school dances, proms and after-proms, charity events, class reunions, and anniversary parties and almost any other event with a group of people. Photo booths provide a fun exciting activity that provides the host and guests lasting memories of the event.
How does the booth work?
Your guest enters the booth and sees a monitor with a welcome message, instructions, and a display of what the camera sees. After selecting either color or black and white photos, the camera will take either 3 or 4 photos, with a message before each picture. After all the pictures are taken, your guest can collect the photo strip when they step out of the booth.
How big is the booth?
When assembled, our booth is roughly 4 ft by 7 ft and about 7 ft tall. Everything is self contained and we only need electrical power to operate the booth.
Our booth is fully mobile and will fit in almost any elevator and can be set up on floors other than the first floor.
How many people can fit in the booth?
Our booth is larger than the traditional photo booth that only accommodated two people. 6 to 8 people can comfortably fit in our booth. More can fit if you want to get crazy and cozy!
How many pictures are included with the rental?
The photo booth rental is a flat fee rental, that includes unlimited pictures and allows your guests to use the booth as much as they want. Each photo strip takes about 1-2 minutes from start to finish.
What kind of printouts does the booth produce?
Our booth produces 4x6 printouts using professional quality dye-sublimation printing process like you get at a commercial photo shop. We do not use standard inkjet prints like many photo booth rentals. Our photos are scratch and water resistant and won't fade for decades.
What do the photo strips look like? Can I customize the photo strip?
There are 7 options from which you can select. 6 of those options have space for your unique message or logo. If you have another layout in mind (including integrating your picture into the background) let us know and we will work with you.
Do I have to choose color or black & white photo strips?
Unlike the other photo booth rentals that make you choose before your event, each guest can choose their own preference. There are buttons for each choice on our booth. With the unlimited photos, you and your guests can try both options!
Do I get a copy of the pictures?
Yes! Included with the booth rental is a free CD/DVD containing all your photo strips taken during the event. You can use these to host your own photo gallery or print many more copies after the event.
How does the rental work?
We will work with you before the event to set up your desired photo strip layout.
At the event we will setup and man the photo booth during your event. In the event the booth does not operate, we will fix it to minimize any disruption. We guarantee the booth to work for at least 80% of the rental time.
After the event, we will break down and remove the booth.
We live outside the local area; can we still book Midwest Photobooth?
Yes! We don't charge a delivery fee within 40 miles and will quote you a delivery charge if your event is beyond 40 miles.
Can we bring our own guest book?
Yes, guest books are a personal choice, so we ask you to provide your own guest book. We provide supplies for your guests to add their photo strips to your book with personalized messages.
